Trust

Security is a design requirement, not a badge.

This page describes the principles guiding how EliteCyberDeals is built and what is planned. It is deliberately specific about what is not yet implemented — no certifications are claimed here.

Current reality: EliteCyberDeals is in development. The controls described below are the principles and plans guiding the platform, not features that are live today.
Security philosophy

Build with the assumption that trust is earned.

A platform that asks businesses to share what software they use must treat that information as sensitive by default.

Least privilege

Access to systems and data should be limited to what is strictly required for a task.

Secure by default

The safest configuration should be the one that requires no extra effort from a user.

Observable

Systems should make their state visible so problems are noticed before they become incidents.

Planned data protection approach

What is planned for account and data protection.

PlannedAccounts

Strong authentication

Multi-factor authentication and single sign-on support are planned for business accounts, with session controls.

PlannedData at rest & in transit

Encryption in transit and at rest

Transport encryption and encrypted storage are baseline expectations for any account data the product holds.

PlannedAccess

Role-based access control

Team roles are planned so that visibility into spend and stack information can be scoped appropriately.

PlannedReview

Independent security review

Third-party review is planned before broad availability. No certification or audit is claimed until it is complete.

Data minimization

Collect less. Explain more.

Every field the product asks for should have a clear purpose. Where a feature can work without collecting something, it should.

  • Ask only for what a feature needs to function
  • Explain why each piece of data is requested
  • Prefer aggregate or estimated data where personal data isn't needed
User control

You decide what the platform knows.

Full control over connected data is a core requirement, not an option buried in settings.

  • Any account or billing connection will be optional
  • Data export and deletion will be supported
  • What is shared with any third party will be explicitly disclosed
Responsible disclosure

Found something? We want to hear it.

If you believe you've found a security issue with this website or the product, please report it responsibly rather than testing it publicly.

  • Describe the issue and how to reproduce it
  • Allow reasonable time before public disclosure
  • Avoid accessing or modifying data that isn't yours
