A product built around a specific frustration.
EliteCyberDeals did not start from a feature idea. It started from how painful it is to buy business software when nobody on the team does that full time.
Better Software. Better Decisions.
Our goal is simple to state and hard to do well: make software buying clearer. Fewer wrong purchases, fewer overlapping tools, fewer renewals nobody planned for.
That means starting from structured information, staying honest about what we don't yet know, and never dressing up a sponsored placement as an honest recommendation.
The problem we're solving.
Buyers lack a neutral starting point
Directories are built for traffic. Vendor sites are built to sell. There is little in between that simply helps a buyer understand the trade-offs.
Bad purchases compound
The wrong tool doesn't just cost the license. It costs the migration, the retraining, and the year spent working around its limits.
Structure makes it tractable
A shared attribute model, aligned comparisons, and spend visibility turn a sprawling problem into a workflow.
Pre-launch, honest, and intentional
We are building in the open about our stage, publishing a roadmap, and refusing to fake traction to look further along than we are.
How we think about building this.
01Information before interface
A beautiful screen over unreliable data is worse than a plain one over good data. We prioritize the data model first.
02Say what we don't know
Unverified or estimated values are labeled as such. We would rather show a gap than fill it with a guess.
03No dark patterns
No fabricated urgency, no disguised ads, no forced sign-ups to see basic information.
04Buyer control by default
The platform informs a decision. It does not make it, and it does not gatekeep the vendor's own information.
05Build to be corrected
Product data changes constantly. The system assumes it will need updates and makes them straightforward.
06Earn trust slowly
Trust comes from consistency over time, not from claims made before launch.
The people without a procurement department.
Most small and mid-sized companies buy software without a dedicated team. The founder, the ops lead, or the developer ends up making the call — often without the time to evaluate properly.
Founders
Choosing the first serious tools for a company.
Small businesses
Managing a stack where every subscription is felt.
IT & developers
Evaluating against security and technical constraints.
Agencies
Keeping client and project tooling coherent.
Foundations before scale.
We are building the product deliberately, starting with the experience and information architecture so that what we ship is genuinely useful before we scale it.
